Dear LEES Families,
We had a great week after the Labor Day weekend! Everyone is settling into the school routine and doing well! Students who turned in their summer reading papers to Ms. May celebrated reading with ice cream on Wednesday. Please see a few pictures below from the event!
We are inviting all staff and students to wear red, white, and blue on Thursday, September 11, in observance of 9/11.
Fall pictures will be taken on Friday, September 12. Picture money and order forms are due on or before the morning of September 12. Parents may also pay online using the code FM484678. Checks are to be made out to Strawbridge Studios, and the order forms are coming home today.
Our behavior specialist and her therapy dog Kenna will be at the Village Library in Broadway this Saturday, September 6, from 11:00-12:00, to read with kids!
Mark your calendars for our LEES Math Night--"Falling into Math" on September 17, from 6:00-7:00 PM. Families will move to different areas of the school to complete activities in order to solve the puzzle and win a prize! There will be a PTO meeting beforehand at 5:00 PM in the library. There will also be a Title I meeting at 5:45 PM that evening in the library. We hope everyone can come!
We started our Virginia Diner school fundraiser on Tuesday. It will run until September 16. Thank you for your support of LEES!
